High on Howell Mountain our private estate Stonewriter Ranch you will find our 3 acre Corilan Vineyard. At 2200 feet the air is rarified and the ultraviolet rays make the skins of the berries thick and dark. The wines are deep and luscious with a dark ruby color and strong fruit aromas. The 2022 vintage is 96% cabernet sauvignon and 4% Malbec fruit from our vineyard. The wine exhibits cassis & dark fruit, rasberry & chocolate complimented by vanilla and smoky oak tones.

TASTING NOTES
This cabernet sauvignon has massive aromas of cassis, graphite and black cherry with notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and sweet smoke. Tobacco and cedar come through with ample dark fruit. The entry is sweet with juicy fruit flavors and black cherry smoke character. The wine continues to please the palate as the toasty oak comes into play. This wine will develop more strength in time and is great now but can be laid down for the next 10-12 years
