High in the Mt.Veeder appellation Wildcat Vineyards meets the clouds.  At 2000 feet the air is rarified and the ultraviolet rays make the skins of the berries thick and dark.  The wines are deep and luscious with a dark ruby color and strong fruit aromas.  The 2014 vintage is 100% cabernet sauvignon and wine exhibits cherry berry fruit complimented by vanilla and oak with long lasting tannins. This dark ruby colored wine is a mélange of dark berry, cherry and vanilla on the nose, The sweet entry yields to a lightly structured, elegant mouthfeel, with concentrated dark berry, mocha and oak characters. This youthful wine finishes extra long and can be drunk now or put down for 5 to 10 years more
